Taking time

A little note to explain my absence –

The bad news I received back in October fully landed in December with a deafening thud and the death of my father. It was far too early and it came after a rollercoaster few months and it has left me incredibly, incredibly sad.

I have been meaning to write something about it for – well, months now – but as I said then, I can write from the scar but not the wound and right now I am nothing if not wounded.

I am giving myself January to reduce pressures and enjoy my family. You won’t see me here and you won’t see me on social media. I’ll be back writing, probably in February – I enjoy it too much not to – but for now I’m just taking time.
